Research Study Recruitment: Concussion Recovery

Concussion recovery is different for everyone.

Researchers at Western University are seeking to learn about how young people (aged 16-23) think and feel about their experiences of concussion recovery. This study uses a group storytelling model to engage Ontario youth with a history of concussion.

  • Do you have a story to tell about life after concussion?
  • Do you have an interest in digital content creation?

The recruitment flyer below further explains the participation components and eligibility criteria for this study. This flyer has been approved by the Western University’s Health Sciences Research Ethics Board.

The researchers of this project include:

  • Principal Investigator, Dr. Gail Teachman, School of Occupational Therapy, Western University
  • Postdoctoral Associate, Dr. Katie Mah, Faculty of Health Sciences, Western University.
  • Co-Investigator, Dr. Barbara Gibson, Bloorview Research Institute, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
  • Research Assistant, Emily Cox, MSc, Western University.
