BIAPH – Events
June is Brain Injury Awareness month. This year BIAPH has teamed with OBIA on the Unmasking Brain Injury Project. Over the past few months many brain injury survivors from Peel and Halton have designed masks accompanied by a brief write up describing the event that led up to their ABI (acquired brain injury) and how ABI effects their everyday life. We will be displaying these masks at different events throughout the month.
Friday June 1, 2018 – Georgetown Mall – 3PM to 7PM
Thursday June 7, 2018 – Real Canadian Superstore, 201 Oak Park Blvd., Oakville – 5:30 – 6:30PM
Thursday June 14, 2018 – BIAPH Annual General Meeting (everybody welcome), Bronte Harbour Conference Centre, 2340 Ontario Street, Oakville 7PM to 9PM
In addition to monthly support groups and youth program events, BIAPH regularly hosts a number of events each year. We regularly have a Holiday Party at the end of November, a Bowlathon at the end of February and a Social Mix and Mingle every May. Come out and support the Survivors of ABI.
