The Importance of Recreation Therapy for a Balanced Lifestyle

Maddy Bacon of Lawlor Therapy Support Services Inc. has been working with people with acquired brain injuries, soft tissue damage and spinal cord injuries for the past 17 years.  After obtaining her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Family and Social Relations she also completed a post graduate diploma in Therapeutic Recreation and has obtained the Brain Injury Specialist certificate from the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists with the Brain Injury Association of America.  She enjoys working with people of all ages, keeping them connected to the things they enjoy through recreation activities and introducing new opportunities to explore skills and abilities.
