February 27, 2024 @ 7pm Online
About the Talk:

The Ontario Caregiver Organization works to improve the lives of Ontario Caregivers, ordinary people who provide physical and emotional support to a family member, partner, friend or neighbour. Becoming a caregiver can feel overwhelming and leave caregivers unsure of where to get started or find support. Join us to learn more about:

  1. The various roles that caregivers have.
  2. The emotional impact of caregiving, and what to expect.
  3. When to ask for support and how to promote resilience.
  4. Information and resources about where you can find support.

She brings combined experience as a clinician and caregiver to her role with the goal of sharing the work of the OCO and working along side organizations and groups interested in enhancing the caregiver supports in their communities.
