About the Talk:
Adam will speak all things CONNECT Hamilton which supports people with redesigning their lives after a Brain Injury or Stroke. He will focus on what a day at CONNECT looks like, speak about their leading practice life redesign model, CONNECT at Home, their outreach program, as well as their coaching team.
About the Speaker:
Adam Van Sickle
Adam Van Sickle has more than 20 years of experience working in the field of brain injury. He has been with CONNECT since it opened in Hamilton in 2019 and is instrumental in facilitating the transition of folks from hospital or other locations to move into their home at CONNECT. His title is Service Access & Transitions Leader. With a background in recreation therapy, Adam has a strong belief that anyone can do anything in the right environment. He has seen countless of examples of this through CONNECT’s Life Redesign Model. When he’s not working, you might catch him coaching youth baseball, spending time with his two daughters or keeping things running on his small hobby farm.
