Suweyda Ugas

Suweyda completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto. With a background in nursing and youth programming, she brings experience in supporting individuals navigating complex physical and mental health challenges. She has worked within interdisciplinary healthcare settings, providing care that addresses rehabilitation, emotional well-being, and adjustment following injury and life transitions.

Suweyda applies a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to her work, integrating modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and group-based interventions. She is passionate about creating supportive spaces that foster connection, reflection, and empowerment.

Alongside her clinical work, Suweyda is a visual artist who explores themes of wellness, identity, and reconnection. She values holistic care and is committed to supporting individuals in building meaningful, self-directed paths forward.
