Julie joined BIAPH in January of 2020, and has been one of our co-facilitators of the young adult support group, HeadSpin. She acquired her Bachelors of Therapeutic Recreation followed by a certification of the National Therapeutic Recreation Exam. Julie is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) with over 10 years of experience specializing in Seniors with Dementia. As a CTRS, Julie wanted to interact and make a difference in the lives of these young adults of HeadSpin. Julie wanted to provide them with a safe, judgement free environment, to be able to share, socialize, engage and stay connected to their community.
