Paolo is one of the original co-facilitators of the young adult support group, Headspin. Paolo joined BIAPH as a volunteer prior to his role as co-facilitator, teaching the “helmets on kids” program briefly, as well as subbing in to lead the adult brain injury support group on occasion. He has long been familiar with the effects of ABI, experiencing multiple concussions through sports and a MVA growing up. Paolo earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Medaille College in 2020, focusing on neurodevelopmental growth and disorders and has worked in a clinical capacity for a decade in Canada and the United States. Focusing on fun, social connection, and allowing individuals to feel comfortable are fundamental values that Paolo brings to his work!
